Meet the artist

After more than a decade as a visual merchandiser in Seoul, South Korea, Yejin Shin founded Artbo in 2021 upon moving to Los Angeles. She hopes to incorporate her Korean heritage into her passion for fashion, handcraft, and spatial design. She found Jogakbo to not only represent beauty and function, but a way to slow down and be present through the motion of stitching patches together.
